Maggie Gordon’s Bio

Maggie Gordon is an Engineering & Science Librarian at Douglas Library. She provides research assistance and delivers instructional sessions to students and faculty in several applied science and engineering programs at the university. She also participates in the collection development of the library's resources for general and popular science, as well as Environmental Studies, Biology, Geological Sciences, Geological Engineering, and Mining Engineering. Maggie is responsible for the Science Fiction & Fantasy Collection. 

Maggie's research interests include the value and usage of popular reading collections in academic libraries, best-practices in curriculum-integrated information literacy instruction, and the information-seeking-behaviour of STEM students.
